I was driving east on I-264 when another driver suddenly changed lanes and struck the driver’s side of my vehicle. The impact caused my car to spin out and crash into the barrier along the highway. It was a terrifying accident, and I began experiencing significant pain in my left shoulder shortly afterward.

I initially tried medication, home exercises, an injection, and physical therapy, but my shoulder continued to get worse. I lost strength and range of motion, and ordinary daily activities became difficult. An MRI showed serious damage to my biceps and labrum, along with other injuries in my shoulder. After months of conservative treatment failed to provide relief, I ultimately had to undergo shoulder surgery followed by another course of physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Abe and the staff at Skeeters, Bennett, Wilson & Humphrey were there for me throughout the entire process. They gathered all of my medical records, documented the months of treatment and the need for surgery, dealt directly with the insurance company, and kept me informed every step of the way. They understood how frustrating and painful it was to go from being active and independent to struggling with simple tasks because of my shoulder.

I always felt that Abe and his team genuinely cared about my recovery and about how the accident had affected my life. They were patient, responsive, and compassionate, while also being determined in dealing with the insurance company. Their hard work resulted in a settlement that I was very pleased with.

I am grateful for the personal attention and professionalism I received and would highly recommend Skeeters, Bennett, Wilson & Humphrey to anyone injured in a serious automobile accident.
